What to bring?
Wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat, if you have one. Participants should tie their hair back if they have long hair.
What is Yoga?
Many people think that yoga is just stretching. But while stretching is certainly involved, yoga is really about creating balance in the body through developing both strength and flexibility. This is done through the performance of poses or postures (also called "asanas"), each of which has specific physical benefits. The poses in these classes will be done slowly to increase stamina and perfect the alignment of the pose. One focus of Ella's classes is on doing yoga safely. Ella will help students adjust poses as necessary to help achieve their best pose possible for that day.
